Anime Star Aleks Le Brings His Voice to Sony’s Ghost of Yotei

Sony’s upcoming open-world adventure, Ghost of Yotei, is already making waves and generating buzz with its debut release after hitting the stores and making fans go rabid. However, its excitement is only growing more with the announcement that anime voice actor Aleks Le has officially joined the cast. Known for standout performances in Demon Slayer as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Solo Leveling as Sung Jinwoo, and Persona 3 Reload as Makoto Yuki, Pharos, and Ryoji Mochizuki, Le will lend his voice to characters in the highly anticipated Adventure RPG: Taro the Scavenger and Young Jubei.

Among Le’s two roles, Taro the Scavenger is already shaping up to be a fan favorite. Described by Le as having “very Saul Goodman-like energy,” the character promises to inject humor and unpredictability into the game’s otherwise dramatic narrative. Drawing inspiration from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Le hopes players will find Taro’s antics both entertaining and memorable.

This playful, lawyer-inspired personality is a departure from the stoic warriors and tragic heroes often found in samurai-inspired games. By blending wit with survivalist charm, Taro’s antics are both entertaining and memorable. This playful, lawyer-inspired personality is a departure from the stoic warriors and tragic heroes often found in samurai-inspired games. By blending wit with survivalist charm, Taro could become one of Ghost of Yotei’s most talked-about side characters.

For Le, the project is more than just another role, as Le describes it as a personal milestone. Le has openly called Ghost of Tsushima, the game that inspired Ghost of Tsushima, the game that inspired Ghost of Yotei, one of his favorite titles of all time. “I’m thrilled to be part of this world, he shared, emphasizing how meaningful it is to contribute to a game that carries forward the spirit of a modern classic.

Le’s second role, Young Jubei, remains more mysterious, but his involvement in multiple characters highlights both his versatility and the game’s ambition to deliver a richly layered cast.

Expanding His Gaming Legacy

Aleks Le’s addition to Ghost of Yotei continues his growing crossover from anime to video games. Earlier this year, he voiced Daredevil in Marvel Rivals, where he humorously defended the character’s exaggerated physique as a tactical distraction. This willingness to embrace both serious and comedic roles has made him a standout in the voice acting community.

With Ghost of Yotei, Le is not expanding his resume but also bridging two worlds he loves: anime and gaming. His enthusiasm for the project, combined with his proven ability to bring depth and humor to his performance, suggests that his characters will resonate strongly with players when the game launches.

As anticipation builds, fans of both anime and gaming have plenty to look forward to. Aleks Le’s involvement adds in another layer of excitement to Ghost of Yotei, ensuring that the game won’t just be remembered for its sweeping landscapes and samurai battles, but also for the colorful personalities that bring its world to life.
