Sandrone. Along with the Archons, the Fatui Harbingers have long been some of the most anticipated and interesting characters in Genshin Impact. Their unique personalities, interactions, and motives are often topics for discussion among the fandom. While 3 Harbingers have now become playable, the remaining 7 remain a mystery. Fortunately, Nod Krai features 2 Harbingers, who are hinted at being playable. While Columbina is being set up to be the Archon of the region, Sandrone’s role is far more ambiguous. Whether she is there for good or ill, the question still remains: what will she be able to do?

Sandrone, the Marionette

While there are no leaks as of yet as to her role or Element, there is some indication that she will be a Catalyst-user. This is a fair conclusion to draw, as she does not seem like she would personally engage in a melee, leaving on Catalyst and Bow as her weapon options.

In either case, it’s almost a given that she will have Pulonia do more of her fighting for her. This would be through summoning him with her Skill, having him attack while she sits on his shoulders, stance changing or even just having him attack instead of her (puppeteer-like).

In any event, how she will utilize Pulonia is only one aspect of her kit, however. There’s still the question of what Element she will be.

Geo, The Bullet Hell Build

If we go based off her and Pulonia’s coloring, this is the most likely Element for her to wield. While Geo is generally considered the worst Element in the game because of its insular nature, Sandrone has the opportunity to bring about a revival of it through Pulonia’s weapon array.

In a similar vein to Navia’s Gunbrella, Sandrone could use Crystalize shards to create bullets for Pulonia. But, while Navia deals Geo DMG with her Skill, Sandrone, who actively alters and augments Pulonia for given situations, could instead deal Elemental DMG based on the type of Crystalize shards that were used. This would give her greater flexibility in fights and better synergize with other characters. They could even make it so that the strength of the Crystalize shards increases their DMG, which gives you a reason to build EM on her.

Her general gameplay would be that either she, or Pulonia, deals Geo DMG with their Normal Attacks to spawn Crystalize shards, converts them in to bullets in some way (like using a Charged Attack or walking over), then uses her Skill to fire the bullets. Her Burst would be either a barrage of bullets or the laser beam that Pulonia used on Rerir.

Anemo, Self-Improvement Assault

The logic for Anemo is based entirely on the color of Sandrone’s wind-up key, Pulonia’s visor, and the color of Pulonia’s pistons. Still, it’s not a horrible idea and creates the potential for an interesting playstyle that is similar to Wanderer and Chasca.

The idea is that Pulonia can absorb different Elements to give itself Buffs. For example, absorbing Pyro could give it stronger DMG, while absorbing Electro could give it greater ATK SPD. In addition, the Elements absorbed would also infuse Pulonia’s Normal Attack. If they have it so that each hand could hold a different Element, Sandrone could drive her own Elemental Reactions.

This kit’s idea would make Pulonia a Normal Attack based attacker, with Sandrone’s Skill being used to absorb Elements to empower him. I’m not sure what their Burst would be, so I’ll just say that they unleash a barrage of bullets.

Electro, The Puppet Unleashed

There is pretty much no indication that Sandrone will be Electro. However, it was the Element I predicted she would be beforehand, so I figured I’d include it anyway. This kit would be a Summon Buffer. Sandrone would mark a target (like with a Charged Attack or something), and then use her Skill to Summon Pulonia onto the field. He would then attack the marked target.  Her Burst would be a massive Buff to Pulonia. It’s perhaps the most simplistic of the 3 kits, but is probably the most thematic for a puppeteer character.
