Destiny 2: How to Use Loose Change Perk

Destiny 2 features hundreds of weapons that players can grind and use. The main feature of the Legendary weapons is the availability of random weapon perks on them. Each weapon comes with two columns of perks. Whenever a player gets a weapon to drop it will come with random perks. Each weapon has a set of defined perks and it is RNG if a certain perk will drop or not. Loose Change is a weapon perk that was released in Season 22 of the game. This article will go over everything you need to know about this perk.

Loose Change Overview

Loose Change works by applying Elemental debuffs. Therefore, this perk has synergy with every subclass across Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans. This perk states that after applying an elemental debuff to an enemy, the weapon will gain a boost to Reload Speed and Aim Assist. Players will also get a faster movement speed while aiming down sights. This perk provides approximately:

50 Reload Speed and 20 Aim Assist
20 percent decreased movement speed while aiming

Elemental debuffs can be applied from both abilities as well as from other weapon perks as well. Loose Change for some reason does not work with the Weaken debuff. This perk can also be activated while the weapon is stowed.

Loose Change appears on 21 different weapons out of which 11 are Craftable and have access to an enhanced version of this perk. The following weapons have access to this perk option.

Veiled Threat: A Rapid-Fire Frame Auto Rifle that has Stasis synergy. It belongs to Episode: Echoes and is a Craftable weapon.
Nox Perennial V: It is an Aggressive Frame Fusion Rifle that has Strand synergy.
Scatter Signal: It is a Rapid-Fire Frame Fusion Rifle that has Strand synergy.
Bold Endings: It is a Heavy Burst Hand Cannon that drops from the Pale Heart of the Traveler. It is also Craftable and has Stasis synergy.
Kept Confidence: It is an Adaptive Frame Hand Cannon and has Strand synergy. It used to drop from Season of the Witch.
Hung Jury SR4: Hung Jury SR4 is obtainable from the Onslaught activity and has no elemental affinity. It is a Precision Frame Scout Rifle.
Someday: It is a Precision Frame Shotgun that drops from the Pale Heart of the Traveler. It has no elemental affinity and is Craftable.
Supercluster: Supercluster is a Slug Pin Point Frame Shotgun and has Strand affinity. It used to drop from Season of the Wish.
Naeem’s Lance: Naeem’s Lance is a Rapid-Fire Sniper Rifle that is obtainable from the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon.
Appetence: Appetence is an Adaptive Frame Trace Rifle that has Stasis affinity.
Fortunate Star: It is a Lightweight Frame Bow that has Void affinity and drops from the Solstice event.
Adhortative: It is an Adaptive Frame Pulse Rifle that has Solar affinity.
Elsie’s Rifle: A High-Impact Pulse Rifle that drops from Onslaught and has Void affinity.
Jurassic Green: A Rapid-Fire Frame Pulse Rifle that has Solar synergy.
Scalar Potential: A Rapid-Fire Frame Pulse Rifle that has Arc synergy.
Brya’s Love: A Precision Frame Scout Rifle that has Void synergy.
Retold Tale: It is a Precision Frame Shotgun that has Void affinity.
Retrofuturist: Another Void affinity Shotgun that belongs to the Rapid-Fire frame.
Indebted Kindness: Arc Rocket-Assisted Sidearm that drops from the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon
Acosmic: Heavy Grenade Launcher that has Void affinity.
Doomed Petitioner: Burst Linear Fusion Rifle that has Void affinity.
