Disney Dreamlight Valley Emotional Rescue is Coming with All the Feels!

The next Disney Dreamlight Valley Emotional Rescue update is almost here! The release date was announced, and it’s time to finish off any lingering tasks so you’re ready for the new content as soon as it drops. Let’s get ready to turn Inside Out!

Disney Dreamlight Valley Emotional Rescue!

In the newest update, you’ll be traveling into Riley’s mind with Joy and Sadness to become a Mind Worker and fix Riley’s emotions Control Console. It will be your job to create a Dream Production and get memories flowing again. And, once you’re done, Joy and Sadness are coming with you into the Valley! The update will release on August 20th, then the fun begins!

Retro Roadtrip Starpath

The update will arrive at the same time as the Retro Roadtrip starpath. Rewards are reported to have a retro summer theme and will include a new fox companion!

Return of the Memory Mania Event

The Memory Mania event from summer 2024, which gave us some really cute emotional companions, is returning. Starting August 27 through September 9, you’ll be able to enjoy this event again with new rewards and a new Nostalgia animal companion!

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Along with the update, we’re getting several quality-of-life improvements. These include an expanded photo gallery of 6 snapshots, the ability to place diagonal fences and paths, change secondary room layouts, and new items and furniture inspired by Inside Out!

Getting Prepared!

You’re going to be welcoming two new neighbors, so start thinking about where you’re going to plop those houses. Finish up any storylines and quests you’re working on now so you can jump right in on the new content. Sometimes, new storyline quests can be locked behind old ones. Stock up on your crafting supplies and ingredients. And, probably watch Inside Out. A little refresher wouldn’t be bad!

The update is coming August 20th. So get busy!
