The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom stamp stands are a new collectible quest in the game. It is similar to the Korok quest from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom in that players will get rewards for finding a certain number of them, but they’re not really integral to the story or your ability to complete the game. Nevertheless, completionists and those who want the stamp outfit will need to find all 25 spots on the map. This version of Hyrule is pretty large, so it’s important to know where to look.
When you come across the first stamp stand in Echoes of Wisdom, Princess Zelda will talk to Stamp Guy, which is his official character name. He will give her a spiel about why he set up the stands and give you the first of a few punchcards to fill out with various stamps. In total, there are 25 locations you can go to to find a stamp. Zelda won’t have to talk to Stamp Guy every single time. The first and easiest one to locate is found at the entrance to Kakariko Village. The stamps do not have to be collected in order. Here are some other locations to head to for stamps:
At various increments, Stamp Guy will provide Princess Zelda a reward for playing his game. After finding five stamps, you earn 10 Fresh Milk to make smoothies with. The next five on a new stamp card reward you with three Golden Eggs. For the next five, you can get a Fairy Bottle. The next five stamps will grant you five Monster Stones. After completing all 25 stamps, you will earn the Stamp Outfit.
Echoes of Wisdom stamp stands are a fun way to entice you to explore the full map. Princess Zelda might not think, for example, to look in a clearing of trees next to Conde’s house if not for the stamps that Stamp Guy so graciously placed for us. It’s a fun side quest that will extend the playtime in one of 2024’s most enjoyable titles.
