LCK 2025: DK Versus BFX Game One – DK Starts in Comfortable Fashion

DK tends to start dominant in the LCK series, but their dominance tends to wane as the series progresses. At least for game one, that script was in full effect with DK running away with a comfortable victory. The early and mid-game were close. Once it got to team fights, DK emerged comfortably and got an early Hextech Soul, which guaranteed their victory in the first game of the series.

LCK 2025: A Standard Game One Draft

The draft from both teams could have been copied and pasted for most series in the latter half of the year. Azir and Taliyah traded is something we have seen for a long time in the LCK. The only difference between this and most drafts is Beryl’s pick of Nautilus. Teams usually choose Rell or Bard in these scenarios.

DK Composition

  • Siwoo – Aurora
  • Lucid – Trundle
  • Showmaker – Azir
  • Aiming – Corki
  • Beryl – Nautilus

BFX Composition

  • Clear – Ambessa
  • Raptor – Xin Zhao
  • VicLa – Taliyah
  • Diable – Sivir
  • Kellin – Alistar

LCK 2025: The Botlanes Trade

What happens when you have the most aggressive Bot laner against the most aggressive Support? Armageddon occurs in the bot lane. All the summoners except for Aiming’s flash were burned at level 1. Diable and Kellin tried to use the level advantage, but overchased and gave first blood to Aiming. The two botlanes traded heavily 7 minutes later, with everyone dying, burning all summoner spells again.

LCK 2025: It Is Rise Group Baby!

With the break between the end of the Rise Group and the start of this match, there were hopes that the teams had fixed their issues. Unfortunately, the over-aggression from Beryl and Kellin was still present. Both support players found themselves in positions where their team could not help them. Fortunately for them, most of the deaths were inconsequential. The deaths that mattered were those of Raptor. He re-engaged in fights that he had no business fighting. These deaths gave DK space and objectives.

LCK 2025: DK Slam Teamfights

Despite the game remaining close for some time, the team fights were not. DK handily dominated the fights and eventually got Hextech Soul. Once DK had the Soul, they were so far ahead that BFX had no chance to recover in the game.

Can DK Keep the Momentum?

During the regular season, DK tended to start series well, but they tailed off drastically in game two. With the series being a Bo5, there are more games that DK needs to worry about, but giving BFX a game win will build their confidence.
