DK needed to hit back in game three of their LCK Play-In series to restore control. Unfortunately, their mid-game spike draft faltered. Raptor punished DK’s botlane for overpushing, while Showmaker and Lucid never found an angle to pick off VicLa. The advantage in the series goes to BFX, as they lead by one. They will have the side selection if it goes to the fifth game.
Over the past months, the combinations of Kalista Renata in the bot lane and Vi Ahri in the mid and jungle have caused speculation. Both combinations have struggled in numerous games. DK picked both on their side of the draft. DK must be proactive in the mid-game to ensure a win.
DK Composition
BFX Composition
Kalista and Renata are one of the most dominant bot lanes in the early game. They put the pressure on Diable and Kellin. Unfortunately for them, Raptor went for an early gank to punish them for pushing too far. While it was not game over from this point, the strength of the bot lane collapsed.
DK’s only attempt to make use of their mid-game composition was on a Drake fight, which Clear showed up to. Other than that, we rarely saw Lucid and Showmaker combine to look for a pick on VicLa before he reached an unkillable state. The draft was playable for DK, but they failed to execute on it.
The gap between Clear and Siwoo on Tank top laners is significant. Clear was the frontline for his team on every occasion, making it comfortable for BFX in team fights. On the other side, Siwoo was caught in awful positions and was a punching bag for the enemy team.

BFX
Player of the Game – Raptor
BFX has all the momentum in the series. They dominated the last two games. With DK’s struggles, BFX has the opportunity to end the series early. However, they can not get complacent, and with the series moving deeper into Fearless, compositions become less cohesive.
