The momentum was on the side of BRO heading into game five. They had won the last two games in the LCK Play-Ins match. Unfortunately, they did not keep it going in game five. Terrible decision-making from BRO on two dives and Pollu’s overextension let the early leads slip. NS did not take their foot off the pedal in game five to earn their first series win since Round 2 of the LCK.
Sylas Jungle received buffs in the interim between the end of the LCK regular season and the start of the postseason. Croco is the first player in the region this year to play the champion. The overall value in the draft did not seem high, with the best ult to steal being Gnar. Lehends’s Taric shut down any potential Sylas value despite it being picked before Sylas.

BRO Composition
The Jhin Leona from Hype and Pollu garnered early lane advantages. BRO tried to push those further with a dive onto Jiwoo. Their dive execution was sloppy, allowing NS to emerge from the dive ahead, despite Jiwoo dying. Pollu caught on a wave pushing out, and another failed dive on Jiwoo, evaporated any advantage for BRO.
With the advantages gifted to them by BRO, NS dominated. Similar to the first game of the series, NS shut out any chance for BRO to come back in the series. They did not take fights that would give BRO a chance. The Cassiopeia from Clozer remained relevant, but given the scaling aspect of the champion, it was not able to contribute enough in team fights.

After a dominant start to the series, NS were shocked by the BRO comeback. They managed to restore their advantage in the final game after mistakes from BRO. With the series victory, they end a fourteen-series loss streak in the LCK. Tomorrow’s series between DK and BFX will decide NS and BRO’s opponents. The winner faces NS, while the loser battles BRO in a knockout match.
