Another week, another dominant performance from T1. Whenever it feels like the gap is closing between the top three teams and the bottom two of the Legend group, a series like today happens. DN Freecs managed to get one game away from FearX. The impressive part was that they were always in control. Ultimately, it was for nothing as the second-placed team in the Rise group dominated the final game of the series.

T1 2-0 KT

T1 2-0 KT
Summary
The Telecom war used to be a back-and-forth series between the two teams. However, in the second half of the LCK, T1 has dominated KT. Today’s series was no different. Keria continued his streak of running the rift, always being in the right place at the right time. In game two, Gumayusi proved why he is one of the best Jhin players in the world, utilizing his ultimate and W to secure numerous kills. KT chose to target Doran in the second game, but Doran managed to make it difficult. He either stalled long enough for his team to arrive or got a kill back in return. Faker became the first player to reach 700 wins in the LCK.

Summary
DN Freecs’ mid-game throws plagued game one of this series. They had the lead, but two vital mistakes from the team gave BFX the lead. In game two, DNF managed to survive BFX’s attempts to bring the game from the brink, sending us to game three. In the end, it did not matter. BFX’s early skirmishes in the third game built them a significant lead. They never let up to win the series. With that victory, BFX moves one step closer to qualifying for the LCK Play-Ins.
