Here is our Strength Social Link guide for Yuko Nishiwaki in Persona 3 Portable. This guide includes the dialogue options, her available days, and more.

The guide may contain spoilers, so do be careful. It is also important to note that this guide is for Persona 3 Portable, which originally came out in 2010, as well as in 2023 with the port. The Social Link Guide for Strength in Persona 3 Reload is a different guide altogether.

Persona 3 Portable Yuko Nishiwaki Strength Social Link Guide

You can find Yuko during the day outside Classroom 2-F in Gekkoukan on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If there are exams, however, she will not be there. Unlike Persona 4 and 5,  the Protagonist does not get additional skills during battle. If you do max her Social Link level, however, you will receive the Kid’s Letter, which allows the fusion of Siegfried.

Sony’s PS3 Store Glitch Sparks Shutdown Panic—But It’s Still Alive

If you thought the PS3 had been taken out back and retired to make room for its flashier, younger siblings, think again. Sony’s plucky last-last-gen console refuses to say die, and its PSN store is still hanging on for dear life. Well, most of the time. Recent server hiccups gave fans mini heart attacks, raising fears that this time, for real, the PS3 store was about to vanish into digital oblivion. Spoiler alert: it didn’t. But before we get into the drama, let’s appreciate this artifact of gaming history. Released in 2006, the PS3 was a beast of its time, complete with weird marketing, a $600 price tag no one asked for, and a catalog of some of the greatest games of its generation. And here we are, nearly 20 years later, and people still care about accessing its online storefront. The Week Sony Nearly Gave Us a Heart Attack Picture this: You’re booting up your PS3, reminiscing about the good old days. Then suddenly, the dreaded “error, under maintenance” message pops up. For almost 24 hours, gamers from across the globe were locked out of the PS3 store. The forums lit up like a Christmas tree with panicked fans asking, “Is this it? Is this the end?” To get some perspective, this isn’t Sony’s first dance with store drama. Back in 2021, they announced plans to shut it down entirely, but after fans lost their collective minds, Sony backed down, issuing a rare, public “we messed up” apology. Since then, it’s been a game of “Will They? Won’t They?” with every new technical hiccup. Thankfully, the store mysteriously limped back online, with Sony offering no explanation. A bug? Maintenance? A rogue hamster powering the basement servers? We’ll never know. What we do know is that, for now, the PS3 isn’t going anywhere. Why Are We Still Talking About the PS3 in 2025? Alright, so what’s the deal? Why are people still clinging to this ancient machine when we have PS5 SSD magic and DualSense controllers? Simple. The PS3 is nostalgia, legacy, and for many, a treasure chest of exclusive games you just can’t get anywhere else. Sure, you’ve heard digital content fans rant about backwards compatibility like a broken record, but they’re not wrong. Titles like Metal Gear Solid 4 or Infamous 2 are emblematic of the PS3 era. Unless you’re into jailbreaking your console or waiting for Sony to miraculously bring everything to the PS5 (don’t hold your breath), the PS3 store remains your digital lifeline to a world of gaming gold. Sony knows this, which is probably why they’ve kept it on life support. Or maybe they’re just too busy printing money from PS5 sales to care. Either way, we’re not mad about it. What Happens When the Store Does Shut Down? Eventually, Sony will have to close down the PS3 store. Let’s face it, servers don’t run on hopes and dreams. But when that happens, what do we lose? Beyond the nostalgia, it’s a genuine concern for game preservation. Once those digital-only titles disappear, they’re gone. Sure, modders and emulators might keep the spirit alive, but nothing beats the legitimacy of owning a piece of gaming history. For now, fans are making the wise call to back up their libraries, dust off their consoles, and stack up on digitally exclusive DLCs like they’re canning goods for a storm. Whether or not Sony chooses to offer an alternative solution, like making PS3 classics available on PS5’s storefront (hint-hint, nudge-nudge), remains to be seen. PS3 Lovers, Assemble At the end of the day, the PS3 community isn’t going anywhere. From Reddit to dedicated forums, there’s no shortage of fans who will keep the spirit alive. And honestly? It’s kind of wholesome. Whether people are booting up the console to relive Uncharted 2 or argue about its clunky interface (yes, it’s still aggravatingly slow), it’s clear that this 2006 relic still holds a special place in gamers’ hearts. Sony’s unpredictable approach to the PS3 only proves one thing: when it finally goes, expect another tidal wave of angry tweets and blog posts from fans around the globe. Until then, power up your PS3, scroll through the lag-tastic store, and grab those digital gems while you still can.

3 Steelers Rookies Who Impressed During The Exciting Preseason Opener Vs Jaguars

The Pittsburgh Steelers opened their 2025 preseason with a nail-biting win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night. Rookie undrafted free agent Daryl Porter made the game-winning tackle inbounds in the final seconds, keeping the clock running and securing the 31-25 win. Porter was one of many rookies to make their debut on Saturday, in a game where 16 starters sat out both due to injury and veteran rest. Some, like defensive tackle Derrick Harmon, are expected to start right away, while others are fighting for a roster spot -- with many making a convincing case. One of these players was wide receiver Ke'Shawn Williams, who is on the outside looking in at a 53-man roster spot currently. While the receiver room in Pittsburgh is crowded, and the Steelers are unlikely to keep more than six wideouts, there have been questions about whether a young guy could steal the final spot from a veteran like Robert Woods. The speedy 5'9" receiver from Indiana made quite a case on Saturday, hauling in 2 catches for 55 yards and the game-winning TD from quarterback Skylar Thompson. If Williams wants to stick around and at least compete for a practice squad spot, it's important that he's able to prove that he's more than just a speedster, and grabbing jump balls from the hands of a defender is a good start. Williams wasn't the only offensive weapon who impressed. Rookie running back Max Hurleman also made his case for a roster spot on Saturday night. Thompson's connection with Hurleman shined in the two-minute drill to end the half, connecting on a pair of consecutive passes, one being a touchdown. While Hurleman's official position might be listed as running back, the Steelers view him as more than that. Hurleman has lined up out wide, as well as in the backfield, making him much more of a Swiss Army knife than a traditional runner. If he wants to stick around, Hurleman's versatility will be why he does so, and he will have to hope that he can usurp someone like Connor Heyward, who is a similar weapon in the passing game. Steelers' 2025 First-Round Pick Gets His First Start While guys like Hurleman and Williams fight for a roster spot, the rookie Harmon has his locked up. In fact, the Steelers have the utmost faith in the rookie, with Defensive Line Coach Karl Dunbar stating that he will be starting Week 1. "You can write that," Dunbar said earlier this summer. "He’s our starting left defensive end." Starting rookies immediately is not something that Pittsburgh typically does, and it shows that they see enough in Harmon to put him in right away. While the box score didn't pop for him on Saturday night, there was still plenty to like. Harmon was able to get in the backfield on multiple plays and create pressure -- something the Steelers have been looking for after moving on from Larry Ogunjobi earlier in the offseason. Harmon is going to add a vital piece to both the pass and run defense for Pittsburgh in 2025. The team is hoping to bounce back after a disappointing playoff performance in January that led to Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry rushing for nearly 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. Coming out of Oregon, Harmon was lauded for his ability to both stop the run and create pressure on quarterbacks, leading the FBS with 55 total pressures. Whether it be their first-round pick, or guys fighting on the bubble, there's no doubt that the rookies were a highlight of the team's preseason performance on Saturday. Whether they can stick around will be decided when the roster cutdown deadline passes on August 27th. Until then, they will be looking toward their next opportunity, when the Steelers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 16th at 7 PM ET. Which rookie's performance were you most impressed by?

'Absolutely' - Browns Are Considering Surprising Quarterback Move

It's the Browns. When the Cleveland Browns drafted Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders this April, they had a total of five quarterbacks on their roster between their incoming rookies, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and the injured Deshaun Watson. And despite the kind of confusing nature of their stockpiling so many QBs, it sounds like the team could double-down on the the decision by the time the regular season kicks off. According to The Athletic's Zac Jackson, "the Browns absolutely might keep all four quarterbacks" heading into Cleveland's season opener. While also adding, "No, Shedeur Sanders is not going to start Week 1 for the Browns. But he's put a lot of pressure on his coaches and fellow QBs headed into this week — the biggest week of training camp as the Browns head to Philly." Fans reacted to the reporter's update on X: "At this point it's not even a QB room anymore. It's a pitching rotation now," a user said. "One as a starter, One as a backup, One to hold on field goals, And one listed as a wide receiver for tax purposes," another commented. "[Shedeur Sanders] should be developed and shouldn't be thrown out there week 1 but he should be considered to be put over Gabriel and Pickett," a fan pointed out. "While also finally getting meaningful reps with the 1's." "I'm a Shedeur fan who wants Flacco to start with Shedeur at QB2," another person replied. "Sitting behind a veteran QB can be very valuable, and you know he'd be ready if he had to come off the bench. Just my .02." "This isn't unprecedented," another user posted. "The Patriots kept 4 QBs in the 2000 season. Worked out ok for them. Not saying there's a Brady in their QB room. But if they have 4 guys who they think are NFL worthy (even if none are QB1 right now), they can make it work." The Browns have been bitten by the injury bug thus far in camp with Pickett and Gabriel both dealing with ailments this preseason — opening up a window for Shedeur Sanders to earn his way up the depth chart. Sanders played well in Friday night's debut with a 14-of-23 performance for 138 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the way to a 30-10 win over Carolina. But head coach Kevin Stefanski says the team in "evaluation mode" when it comes to their QBs.

New Connor McDavid Contract Rumors Circulate in Edmonton as Timeline and Amount Emerge

Edmonton Oilers superstar captain Connor McDavid, who can become a UFA next July 1, reportedly has a new contract extension timeline per a new report from the 2 Mutts Podcast. The Edmonton Oilers still have a major matter of important business to take care of, as superstar captain Connor McDavid can become perhaps the highest-profile UFA in NHL history next July 1. Team Canada's Orientation Camp Could Be the Key to McDavid's Next Oilers Deal McDavid, who didn't exactly sound like he was rushing into a new contract extension with the Oilers following their 2nd straight loss in the SCF to the Florida Panthers earlier this year, will play for Canada in the 2026 Winter Milan Olympics. Per the 2 Mutts Podcast, the Oilers could potentially get McDavid to sign a shorter-term extension during Canada's Orientation Camp in late August in Calgary. We are hearing that the contract extension for Connor McDavid will most likely happen after the Team Canada Orientation Camp which is August 26th to the 28th in Calgary. The plan is to announce the contract extension before the Captain Skates begin Training Camp starts. We believe it could be a 2 year deal or a 4 year deal as the @EdmontonOilers already know McDavid won't be signing an 8 year extension this time around. The conversation on AAV has gone from $16M to around $17.5M from what we've been told. Right now, McDavid makes an AAV (average annual value) of $12 million on the deal he signed in 2017. The Oilers have already re-signed both Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard While they try and work out an extension for McDavid, the Oilers have already re-signed both Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard to massive extensions. Draisaitl makes an AAV of $14 million, while Bouchard recently agreed to a new deal with an AAV of $10.5 million. With McDavid's alleged impending extension, the Oilers could have over $40 million dedicated to just 3 players on the roster.
