REPO Beta Update Now Live for All Players

REPO, the physics-based horror game that has you and several of your friends entering houses of horror in order to Retrieve, Extract, and Profit, that’s the whole Operation (heh). First released back in February 2025, the support for REPO has been staggering. But that comes at a small cost, and that is updates! Well, it’s not really a cost as they probably would have done it anyway…maybe cost of sanity? Would that be more appropriate? 

Anyway, our favorite indie devs have been hard at work, suffering the elements, the insomnia, the malnutrition due to lack of air conditioning! Now, semiwork has now announced that their new update is ready for testing, which is good news for all fans of REPO! Why? Because they’ve opened the beta for everyone to try! So, if you’ve been curious about what they’ve been cooking up in the workshop, NOW IS THE TIME! 

How To Turn On REPO Beta

What’s even better, they’re allowing for constructive criticism for the update. If you head to their YouTube page and join their Discord, you’ll find that they have tabs for reporting any bugs found and discussion of the beta itself. Which is wild! Or maybe not, we guess only uber fans would be that excited (looks away). 

But what is the way to engage the Beta version? So glad you asked because semiwork graciously showed us how, and here we go!

Turning on the REPO beta is actually really simple, but in case you’re worried, here are the steps:

• Go to Steam
• Go To REPO Game
• Right Click
• Click Properties
• Hover down to Beta
• See Beta Participation at the top? Yesh
• Switch from None to Beta

And there you go! Simple as picking up a diamond and putting it in the cart with no issues whatsoever (oh, you have issues with that? hmmm).
