Steam Zombie & Vampire Sale: Grab Left 4 Dead Games for Less Than a Buck

If you are a fan of horror genre games that bring you a taste of Halloween all year long, Steam has a sale that will be right up your alley. The Zombies Vs. Vampires Fest takes a whole slew of games and puts them on sale, some as cheap as a buck or less. While limiting the horror and action genres to just zombie or vampire archetypes may not seem all that much at first, consider the pool of games available. Zombies have become a mainstay in the gaming industry, and vampires may be more niche, but still have some fantastic entries of their own.

What Games Has Steam Put Up For Sale?

There are a slew of great games available on the Zombies vs. Vampires Steam sale, covering a style for all different player types. A full list is available here, on their official web page, but several highlights should get fans interested. Some of the most successful games in recent years headline the sale with their narrative-driven success. This includes The Last of Us, Dying Light, Dying Light 2, and The Walking Dead.

Perhaps the best deals of the entire collection are in the next subset, though. These games are straightforward: shoot and kill zombies. But they do it so incredibly well, and are often seen as synonymous with the zombie genre. Left 4 Dead and the sequel, Left 4 Dead 2, are both on sale on Steam for a dollar or less. That is an incredible deal, so if you have not played the games yet or simply want a refresher on the classics, now is a perfect opportunity. Also in this grouping are Killing Floor 2 and World War Z.

Vampire games have also carved out their niche in the gaming world, and Steam has not let many slip through the cracks. Vampire Survivors, possibly one of the most well-known current chaos games out there involving vampires, is on the sale list. Also making an appearance is survival game V Rising, which is not just a great vampire game, but the class of the survival genre as well. RPG Vampyr also shows up on the list, although cult classic RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is on the page but not actually on sale.

Still, the overall collection is impressive and offers gamers a fantastic opportunity to get their hands on some true bloodbusters, cult classics, and everything in between. If you have been meaning to check the genre out, this is the best time to do so.

Steam often has some fantastic sales covering all different varieties of games and genres. The Zombies vs. Vampires fest feels weirdly timed and a bit niche, but it offers up some absolutely fantastic deals.
