Rockstar Games just launched the Rockstar Mission Creator for GTA Online.
This sandbox tool allows players to build custom narrative missions and control NPC behavior in the Los Santos map. Missions can be created for up to eight players at a time.
Via a blog post, the team stated, “The Rockstar Mission Creator is the latest expansion to our suite of innovative, in-depth tools, empowering the community to unleash their creativity and bring their own GTA Online adventures to life.”

To start creating your own missions and objectives, enter the Pause Menu in GTA Online, then go to Online > Rockstar Creator > Create a Mission. You can get started after agreeing to the Community Guidelines.
If you want to learn how to do it in depth, Rockstar Games has crafted five missions to walk you through the tools using gameplay. The missions are: Secure & Deliver, Obtain & Impair, Stealth Extraction, Thick as Thieves, and Multiple Choice.
You can either launch these from the Jobs Menu or open them in the Mission Creator to learn the basics. Once you’re all set, do not forget to share your creations with the community.
Also, to bookmark others’ creations, use the Jobs page and check them in the Pause Menu under Online > Jobs > Play Job > Bookmarked.
Furthermore, you will get access to previously unavailable locations, including “the deck of the USS Luxington Aircraft Carrier, the Cluckin’ Bell Factory, various banks, and more.”
The team also states, “Get featured in the Community Series (including the new Community Mission Series) to receive a one-time GTA$10,000,000 award, the ultra-rare Rockstar Community Series Varsity Jacket, and Mansion Trophy in-game.”
The updates continue with additional events and featured content. Apart from its first featured Community Mission, Old School Hits, the team further announced more events, stating, “Expect more community-made Missions to land in the Series later this year, and look out for a host of GTA Online events to come, including motorsport-based mayhem and a frenetic Community Race Series kicking off next month.”
The Mission Creator offers players a new way to interact with Los Santos and provide unique content for the community.
