Aces Attempt to Regain Footing against Sparks

After suffering a disappointing loss to the young Golden State Valkyries on national television on Saturday, the Las Vegas Aces take on the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday, June 11 at 7pm PT at home.

The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.

This will be the second time to two teams have faced off this season. The Aces have won two of their last games.

Center A’ja Wilson leads the Aces, averaging 22 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.4 blocks per game. Also scoring in double figures are Jackie Young with 16.1 points per game and Chelsea Gray at 12.9 points per game.

The Sparks have come into this game losing four of their past five games, including an 89-81 overtime loss Monday night against Golden State. They are led by Kelsey Plum, who is averaging 21.8 points per game. Dearica Hamby is second in scoring  behind Plum, averaging 18.1 points per game.

In their last game against the Sparks, the Aces held them to only 7 fast break points. The Aces also recorded their highest 3-point field goal percentage of 2025 with 48% and highest overall field goal percentage 45.7%. A’ja Wilson also scored a season-high 35 points in addition to 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks.

The Aces take on the young Dallas Wings on Friday, June 13 at 7pm PT at home, followed by a matchup for the second time this season against the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday, June 15 at 3pm PT, also at home.
