Today is Sunday, April 26, and 13 days remain until the Las Vegas Aces open the 2026 season. At Dice City Sports, we are counting down to opening tip as the defending champs chase a fourth championship in five years while we rank the top 14 players in franchise history.
Robinson checks in at No. 13 after building one of the steadiest backcourt careers in franchise history. Across six seasons with San Antonio and Las Vegas, she averaged 9.9 points, 4.7 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 178 games while shooting 46.3% from the field.
Her best years came in San Antonio, where she developed into one of the league’s top point guards. Robinson made three All-Star teams, earned three All-Defensive selections and was named to the All-WNBA second team in 2014. She also led the WNBA in assists in 2013, when she averaged 6.7 per game. Robinson later added depth and experience to the 2020 Aces, averaging 7.4 points and 3.2 assists in 22 games.
Danielle Robinson has been promoted to Sparks assistant coach.

Robinson ranks this high because of her longevity, playmaking and defense across two stops in franchise history. Few guards matched her sustained impact with San Antonio, and her role with Las Vegas strengthened her place in the organization’s full timeline from Utah to San Antonio to Las Vegas.
Robinson was born May 10, 1989, in San Jose, Calif. She starred at Oklahoma and attended Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose. The San Antonio Silver Stars selected her with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft.
In 359 WNBA games, Robinson averaged 8.8 points, 4.1 assists and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 45.0% from the field. She was a three-time All-Star, the 2013 assists champion, a 2011 All-Rookie pick, a three-time All-Defensive selection, a 2014 All-WNBA honoree and the 2019 Community Assist Award winner.
Next up tomorrow: No. 12.
