The Las Vegas Aces (5-4) continue to find their footing on Sunday, June 15 against the Phoenix Mercury (7-4) at 3pm PT to close out the final game of their homestand.
Sunday will be the second straight game missed by A’ja Wilson. Wilson is still in concussion protocol following a hit to the face during the game against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 11.
Wilson went into concussion protocol on Friday at 1pm.
Las Vegas comes off of an 88-84 edge over the Dallas Wings on Friday night. The Aces struggled to protect the ball on the offensive end, they amassed 18 turnovers, with 10 of those coming in the third quarter.
Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray, and Jewell Loyd all came up big in the win for the Aces. The trio made up for 62 of the Aces 88 points. Young went for 28 points and shot 7-for-16 from the floor.
The Aces are on the lookout for Mercury star, Satou Sabally, who leads the Mercury averaging 20.5 points per game. Alyssa Thomas is second in scoring, averaging 14.5 points per game for the Mercury.
The Aces are 45-54 against the Mercury all-time and claimed the regular season series in 2024, 3-1.
