It wasn't just the fans who missed watching Caitlin Clark in action amid the Indiana Fever star's recent injury spell. Her teammates missed having her on the court as well, which Clark admitted was a mutual feeling for her.
The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year made her highly anticipated return to action on Saturday following a five-game injury layoff. She came back with a massive bang, too, dropping a season-high 32 points to lead the Fever to a 102-88 win over the defending champions New York Liberty.
On Sunday, Clark took to Instagram to send a message to teammate Aliyah Boston. Clark shared a photo of them together, and in her caption, the former Iowa star confessed that she "missed my dawg" during her spell on the sidelines.
Boston caught wind of Clark's emotional message and responded accordingly.
"Miss you more babes " Boston replied, via her Instagram stories.

Boston turned in a strong performance in the win against the Liberty as well. The two-time All-Star finished with a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double with six assists and two blocks, as she helped lead Indiana to a statement win against the previously undefeated Liberty.
Clark and Boston are Indiana's two core players. Clark may be the Fever's cornerstone superstar, but there's no denying that Boston's level of play will have a significant impact on this team's level of success this season.
These two also have a strong relationship off the court, and their emotional exchange on social media on Sunday is a testament to it.
