The Chicago Sky have matched their worst start in franchise history, starting off the season with an 0-4 record, led by first-year head coach Tyler Marsh.
Chicago entered the season with a revamped roster and coaching staff, looking to improve on a 13-27 record last season.
While Marsh was set to make an immediate impact on the Sky, they have struggled to find any sort of consistency on either end of the floor, leading to multiple double-digit losses.
Despite the struggles, Angel Reese continues to etch her name in the history books.
Following a 94-89 loss to the Phoenix Mercury, the Sky announced that Reese had become the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 500 points and 500 rebounds.
"FIRST CLASS TICKET TO THE 500/500 CLUB FOR CHITOWN BARBIE," posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky.
Reese posted the Sky's announcement on social media, reacting to the historic feat and sharing the news with over 4.9 million followers.
Angel Reese established herself as one of the best rebounders in the WNBA during her rookie season with the Chicago Sky.
Last season, Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
Now, this season, Reese has continued to prove that she is at the upper echelon of rebounders, posting 10.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
The most impressive stat in Reese's arsenal is her offensive rebounding. In such a difficult statistic, Reese shines bright, averaging 6.5 offensive rebounds per game.
Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky will have a chance to snap their four-game losing streak and pick up their first win of the season on Thursday against the Dallas Wings at 8 p.m. ET.
