WNBA star Angel Reese was sensational on Sunday, as she powered the Chicago Sky to a 78-66 win over the Connecticut Sun.

The 23-year-old forward recorded her first career triple-double, finishing with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. She also stepped up defensively with three steals and two blocks, as the Sky notched their third win of the season.

Reese's performance was also just the second triple-double of the season, joining Caitlin Clark who exploded for a monster 20-10-10 game in the Indiana Fever's season-opener against the Sky.

Chicago named Reese as the Player of the Game for her incredible display, while the WNBA heaped praise on her and called the youngster "TRIPLE-DOUBLE BARBIE."

The Sky, for their part, also made sure to celebrate Reese following the game. In the photos the team shared on social media, Chicago's players can be seen giving their All-Star teammate a water bottle shower.

One photo showed Reese in shock as her Sky teammates approached her to drench her with water. A couple more photos showed Reese trying to protect her hair so it wouldn't get wet, with Kia Nurse coming to her aid by grabbing a towel and putting it over her head.

Sure enough, fans loved the moment as well, with many taking to the comment section to react to the Sky players' gesture toward Angel Reese.

"The towel over the hair!! Those are real sistas," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Kia Nurse covering Angel’s hair for the win!"

"Can we get video of this please!!!" a supporter requested.

"She definitely stood on business. Love this energy from them keep it up," a commenter said of Reese and the Sky.

A fifth follower remarked, "Proud of Angel like a proud Aunty!!! Keep going Angel. Congratulations!!"
