Angel Reese put up a strong stat line during Sunday’s game, and had a six-word message about her ambitions after the game.
Reese notched a triple-double in the Chicago Sky’s 78-66 win over the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Ct. on Sunday. Reese’s 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists made her the second-youngest player in WNBA history to record a triple-double, behind only Caitlin Clark.
After the game, Reese offered up a simple response to her performance.
“I just want to be unstoppable,” Reese said.

Sunday’s performance was unquestionably a step in the right direction for Reese. The 11 assists, in particular, were more than double her previous career high.
However, some of the shortcomings that Reese’s critics like to point out were still there. She achieved her 11 points on just 2-of-7 shooting, with seven of her points coming at the free-throw line. The people that like to cash in on one of her shooting habits successfully did so again in this one, even though the game turned out well for her.
Reese has shrugged off the critics when it comes to her performances. More games like Sunday’s will be a big help for her reputation.
