Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has already achieved so much at such a young age. Her biggest accomplishment as a basketball player is establishing herself as one of the top young stars in the WNBA after just her second season.

After a memorable college career with the Maryland Terrapins and the LSU Tigers, Reese was selected seventh overall by the Sky in the 2024 WNBA Draft. She has been a dominant force in the league, leading the WNBA in rebounds for two consecutive seasons.

With averages of 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game, the 6-foot-3 forward was named to the All-Star squad for a second straight season in 2025.

Reese is also an absolute star off the basketball court. She has multiple endorsement deals with big brands such as Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Beats by Dre and Airbnb, to name a few. The Sky star also launched her first signature shoe with Reebok, the Angel Reese 1, in September 2025.

Reese is also an entrepreneur. She recently invested in the media company TOGETHXR alongside other female sports icons. The 23-year-old is also a founding member of DC Power FC, a women’s soccer team in the USL Super League.

In a recent interview with Women’s Health, Reese announced her latest move outside basketball. According to the Sky forward, she now wants to learn how to cook.

“I want to be a chef,” she said. “I’m actually going to start a culinary school soon.”

The fact that she’s going to study cooking goes to show that Reese is serious about her culinary journey. She won’t be switching careers anytime soon, but this is another skill she plans to keep in her back pocket.

Apart from being a professional basketball player and a future chef, Reese has many other things going on. She hosts her own podcast and has also ventured into acting. As a model, Reese made history as the first professional athlete to ever walk the Victoria’s Secret runway.
