WNBA star Angel Reese will no longer tolerate any hate from online trolls and critics.

The Chicago Sky forward added yet another award to her résumé earlier this week. On Monday night, she was named the BET Sportswoman of the Year for the third straight time. She was up against a plethora of notable athletes, including Simone Biles, Coco Gauff and Sha'Carri Richardson.

Several people ripped BET for once again naming Reese the BET Sportswoman of the Year. They claim she wasn't deserving of this award.

"Over A’ja, Sha’Carri and Simone Biles???Wasn’t there outrage on a certain Mt. Rushmore post recently? This is why I can’t take you folks seriously fr lol," one person wrote on X.

"This is a slap in the face to every single woman on this list. EVERY SINGLE ONE. What a charity case," another social media user said.

Following a loss to the New York Liberty on Tuesday night, Reese was asked about winning another BET Award. She used her time at the podium to call out her critics.

"Obviously, it really meant something to other people today, because it's me. And I just focus on basketball," Reese told reporters. "I come into work every day and work. I don't complain. I don't care about anything else. I have bad days. I haven't been playing well at all, and I can sit here and just mope around and point the finger, but it's been me. And I take accountability. I come in every day and try to be better than the next, and and better than the last, and I know my teammates trust me."

Reese finished off her statement with a message for anyone questioning her commitment to basketball.

"I put my all into this [expletive]," Reese declared.

Maybe these remarks will lead to fans giving Reese space. There's truly no reason for people to critique every little thing she does.
