Angel Reese Sends Message After Personal Decision on Thursday

The Chicago Sky continue to work under head coach Tyler Marsh.

Chicago ranks at the bottom of the WNBA standings, despite a talented roster that includes Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, Hailey Van Lith, Rebecca Allen and Ariel Atkins.

Reese is currently playing in her second season with the Sky after making a name for herself as a star in the WNBA last season.

The Sky forward is a star on and off the court, boasting millions of followers on social media. With her platform, Reese has been able to make an impact outside of just stats on the basketball court.

During her second season in the WNBA, Reese partnered with Cash App to reveal a brand-new customized basketball court at Oakwood Beach.

On Thursday, the Chicago Sky's official social media account posted a photo of the court, leading to a response by Reese.

"Oh hey," Reese said with the blessing emoji and the heart eyes emoji.

Reese's partnership with Cash App dates back to October 2024. She previously partnered with the online banking app to share giveaway items with fans after her rookie season with the Chicago Sky.

Reese has now made a lasting impact on the community, continuing to show off her influence outside of the white lines.

In her second season with the Chicago Sky, Reese has posted 11.0 points, 11.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game, leading the team in average boards.

Reese and the Sky will be back on the court on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, set to play the Phoenix Mercury.
