Angel Reese Shares Personal Update Amid WNBA Offseason

Angel Reese’s second season with the Chicago Sky did not exactly go according to plan.

On a personal level, the 23-year-old showed significant progress as a sophomore, which resulted in her second straight WNBA All-Star appearance. The Sky, however, had another forgettable season, finishing with the second-worst record in the league at 10-34.

Reese has been quite busy since her season ended. The former LSU star has already taken a trip to South America for a quick vacation. Reebok has also launched her first signature shoe, the Angel Reese 1, which was sold out within minutes of the drop.

On Tuesday, the Sky star provided a personal update that is sure to excite her fans. This comes in the form of the much-anticipated return of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast. Reese took to social media to tease the upcoming episode of the show.

“we are soooo backkkkk” she wrote on X, sharing a post from the podcast that reveals rapper and actor Common as the next guest.

Reese did not reveal when the next episode will drop. However, since new episodes are usually uploaded on Thursdays, it’s possible that “Unapologetically Angel” will be back on air next Thursday, Oct. 2.

Reese has a lot more time on her hands now that the WNBA season has come to an end. This allows her to attend to her personal endeavors, which include her podcast. It now appears that her listeners will be treated to new episodes on a weekly basis, as was the case before the show’s hiatus in April.
