Angel Reese talks about her relationship with A’ja Wilson

On Sunday, Angel Reese became the first rookie since A’ja Wilson to score 25 points and 15 rebounds. Reese ended with 26 points and 15 rebounds, helping to lead the Sky’s comeback from a 15-point deficit. After the game, she spoke about her relationship with A’ja Wilson “I love A’ja,” Reese said.

During her time at LSU, Reese said that she wears a leg sleeve to cover her scar but also because she admires players like A’ja Wilson.These two will square off for the first time this season on Thursday, when the Aces travel to Chicago to play the Sky.

Reese is currently averaging 12.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game, which is tied for fifth in the WNBA.Wilson is also averaging a double double, with 27.8 points per game, 11.6 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game.

Both players are on streaks, with Reese looking for for her ninth consecutive double double and Wilson going for her 20th consecutive game with at least 20 points. It’s safe to say that Thursday’s showdown will feature two of the league’s most intriguing post players, with tip-off slated for 4pm on Prime Video.
