Angel Reese's First Official Bucket in Unrivaled

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese made her Unrivaled debut on Friday with the Rose BC, and she didn't waste her time scoring her first bucket for the team.

Reese actually scored Rose BC's first basket against Vinyl BC, fooling Dearica Hamby with a pump fake under the basket before scoring off the glass for the easy two.

The WNBA All-Star was also coming off a rebound prior to the play, making sure she made an immediate impact on her team.

Reese is teammates with fellow WNBA players Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Lexie Hull, Azura Stevens and Brittney Sykes in Rose BC.

Angel Reese has been working a lot on her game prior to the inaugural season of Unrivaled—a new 3-on-3 women's basketball league founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.

In several posts over the past few months, Reese was seen working on her ball-handling and long- and mid-range shooting, which are both major areas of improvement for her.

It remains to be seen if fans will get to see the results of her offseason work in Unrivaled, but sure enough, it's clear Reese is more than ready to compete.

While Unrivaled is a 3-on-3 league, it's still played in a "full court." However, the court is shorter at 70 feet (a WNBA court is 94 feet long) but has the same width (50 feet), according to CBS Sports.

As for the game's rules, the first three quarters are seven minutes each. Meanwhile, the fourth quarter uses the Elam Ending, meaning the two teams have a final target score. The winning score is determined by adding 11 points to the score of the leading team by the end of the third quarter. The two teams then play to reach that point total.
