Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky have struggled to start the new WNBA season.
The Sky are currently 0-2 on the season. They began the year with a blowout loss to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, losing 93-58, and followed that with a loss to the New York Liberty.
Chicago fell 99-74 to the Liberty in their most recent outing.
Despite the struggles, the Sky made an exciting post on Friday, highlighting WNBA star Ariel Atkins.
The longtime WNBA guard and first-year member of the Sky has amassed 400 career three-pointers.
"Welcome to the 400 Club, Double A," posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky.
Reese then reposted the news on Instagram, seemingly supporting her teammate.
Before joining head coach Tyler Marsh and the Chicago Sky for the 2025 WNBA season, Ariel Atkins played seven season with the Washington Mystics.
She's been a starter for much of her career and is considered one of most consistent guards in the WNBA, in terms of scoring and playmaking.
In two games with the Sky this season, Atkins has averaged 9.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
Angel Reese entered her second season with the Chicago Sky, after finishing last year as the runner-up for the Rookie of the Year award and being named a WNBA All-Star.
Last season with the Sky, Reese posted 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
This season, Reese has continued to prove that she's one of the best rebounders in the WNBA, averaging 7.0 points, 14.5 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game.
