Angel Reese's Off-Court Move After Dream Trade Draws Attention

Angel Reese is now part of the Atlanta Dream after the Chicago Sky traded her on Monday.

The Dream sent two first-round picks in 2027 and 2028 to acquire Reese from the Sky. They also received the rights to swap second-round picks with Chicago in 2028.

Reese spent her first two seasons in the WNBA with the Sky, who drafted her seventh overall in 2024. She has since established herself as a two-time All-Star and the best rebounder today, having led the league in the category since her arrival.

The 23-year-old forward has career averages of 14.1 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.4 steals.

Before Reese starts a new chapter with the Dream, however, she made headlines on Tuesday for a different reason.

On Instagram, Reese shared several photos of herself looking glammed up for an event. Based on her IG Stories and X, it was for a Victoria's Secret event in New York, as she wrote in one post, "HAPPY VS CAMPAIGN DAY!"

There was also another post showing her standing in front of a massive Victoria's Secret poster of herself.

Fans were quick to heap praise on Reese, with many loving that she thrives off the court as well.

"Angel has a Victoria's Secret ad campaign? Wow! Good for her! I guess the ratings for her fashion show appearance were deemed a success! Congratulations to her!" a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Boss!!!"

"Amazing what she is going off the court. Beautiful lady," a fan added.

A supporter added, "She’s the moment! She’s Angel Reese!"

"Big baller!" a poster stated. A sixth follower shared, "Wow! She’s a superstar."

For what it's worth, Reese was unsurprisingly asked about her trade to the Dream during the Victoria's Secret event. She didn't hide her excitement to "start a new journey," emphasizing that she "really dreamed of this moment."
