According to Underdog WNBA on X (formally Twitter), Las Vegas Aces forward Crystal Bradford will miss the Aces season opener against the New York Liberty on Saturday.

It Is said that Bradford will be serving a one-game suspension handed down from the league stemming from a November 2021 altercation.

The league had detailed that Bradford was supposed to serve out the one-game suspension during the 2022 season, but Bradford did not play that season.

Bradford played 15 games with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2015 and 24 games with the Atlanta Dream.

After the 2021 season, a video of Bradford and currently Minnesota point guard Courtney Williams surfaced of the incident in which Bradford is suspended for.

The former teammates were involved in an altercation outside of an Atlanta-area food truck.

Both players argued that they were within the right to defend themselves in said altercation and have since expressed remorse and apologized.

Aces coach Becky Hammon is not concerned with the incident, she’s only looking at the player she’s coached in training camp, who in fact, is not an embarrassment.

At a recent practice, Bradford addressed the incident and she expressed that she is ready to move on and put the past behind her.
