The Atlanta Dream have been playing some good basketball this season, and they're currently in second place in the standings. There have been huge contributions on both sides of the ball, and as the season continues, they continue to get better. Allisha Gray is playing at an MVP level almost every night, and it's hard not to have her in those conversations with the stats she's putting up.
Other players have stepped up as well, including Rhyne Howard and Brionna Jones, who were both All-Stars for the Dream. Another player who has found a groove in the second half of the season is Brittney Griner, who signed with the Dream in the offseason.
Griner has been a dominant force on the boards throughout her career, and that's what she's doing with the Dream this season. In their game against the Las Vegas Aces, Griner moved up the all-time rebounding list.
"Brittney Griner has moved into sole possession of 17th on the WNBA’s all-time rebounding list, passing Michelle Snow. Griner now has 2,483 career rebounds (and counting)," the Dream wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Griner still has a lot of game left in her career, and it would not be a surprise if she continues to move up the all-time list. She's probably not worried about where she finishes and is more worried about how she can help the Dream make a deep playoff run this season.
