The WNBA season wrapped up in recent weeks, with the Las Vegas Aces claiming the championship for the third time in four seasons.
It also marked the conclusion of Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark’s second season in the league. While she remains the franchise centerpiece for Indiana and one of the faces of the league, it was a year Clark will likely want to put behind her, as it was plagued by injuries.
Clark appeared in just 13 games. While she was productive during that stretch, she never fully regained her health. She dealt with an injury during the preseason, suffered a groin injury early in the year that caused her to miss time, and then suffered another groin injury prior to the All-Star break that ultimately ended her season.
Now, with 5-on-5 activities set to begin this month, Clark can use the offseason to return to full form—and she already has several exciting developments planned.
She’ll be competing in The Annika LPGA Tournament in November. Additionally, on Oct. 29, the Long Island Association announced that President and CEO Matt Cohen will moderate a conversation with Clark at their annual Fall Luncheon, discussing her “record-breaking performances, captivating playing style, philanthropy, and iconic presence in popular culture and media.”
