Caitlin Clark just dropped another milestone—and this one comes with fresh kicks.
To celebrate the release of her Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE, the WNBA star surprised the Butler Bulldogs men’s basketball team with a special gift: a full squad delivery of her new signature sneakers.
Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, currently an assistant coach at Butler, helped make the moment even more personal. The team shared their appreciation in a post that featured the players rocking the navy blue PEs during practice.
“S/O @caitlinclark22 for the new kicks!
,” the Bulldogs posted on Instagram.

Connor also reposted the moment on his story, giving Caitlin Clark a shoutout alongside a video from Bulldogs center Jalen Jackson, who thanked the Fever guard and McCaffery for the hookup.
It didn’t stop there—Connor followed up by sharing a clip of his younger brother, Jack McCaffery, wearing the Clark PEs during a workout.
Caitlin Clark’s Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE was released on June 30 and sold out almost immediately. All 13,000 pairs vanished in under a minute, and resell prices are already soaring—some listings are hitting the $500 mark.
Fans looking to snag their own pair will have another shot later this year. According to Sneaker News, Nike is planning to release Caitlin Clark’s Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Light Armory Blue” during the 2025 holiday season.
Just like the Kobe 5s, the Kobe 6s will retail at $190 and are expected to fly off shelves just as fast.
With her first signature shoe with Nike set to arrive next year, it’s safe to say Clark’s influence off the court is only growing—and so is the demand for anything with her name on it.
