The Indiana Fever have finally broken their three-game losing streak, earning their first victory with Caitlin Clark out of the lineup.
Indiana lost back-to-back games after Clark was officially ruled out with a left quadriceps injury.
On Tuesday, they earned an 85-76 win over the Washington Mystics.
After the game, the Fever posted a graphic with Kelsey Mitchell, whom they announced as the stat leader of the matchup.
"1-0 in Commissioner's Cup," posted the official social media account of the Indiana Fever.
Caitlin Clark then reposted the photo from the Fever, seemingly supporting Mitchell and her teammates after the victory.
Indiana Fever star Kelsey Mitchell finished the win over the Washington Mystics with 24 points, two rebounds and three assists.
They also got great contributions from Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull.
Boston finished the win over the Mystics with 10 points, one rebound and four assists. Hull capped off the game with 14 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Indiana Fever's latest addition to the team, Aari McDonald, posted seven points, one rebound and five assists in her first game with the organization.
The Indiana Fever are now 1-2 with Caitlin Clark out of the lineup. She last played against the New York Liberty on May 24.
During her second season with the Fever, Clark has posted 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game.
Indiana will now look to spark a win streak, set to face the Chicago Sky on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
While it was initially viewed as a rivalry game between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, fans will have to wait for the next matchup with the Fever star sidelined.
