Caitlin Clark’s Nike Kobe PE Emerges As Most-Worn Sneaker Among NBA Players

Caitlin Clark’s impact has now extended beyond the court into the sneaker world, with KixStats reporting a major surge in popularity for her Nike Kobe 6 PEs.

Sole Retriever reshared data from KixStats on X with the caption “CAITLIN EFFECT.” According to the post, Caitlin Clark’s Nike Kobe 6 PE, originally released on November 12, 2025, was the most-worn sneaker in the NBA this season, while her “Fever” Kobe 5 PE ranked fourth with 7,780 minutes played.

Unlike most WNBA stars, Caitlin Clark doesn’t have a signature shoe yet, with Nike set to release one later this year. Still, her Kobe player-exclusive sneakers are already dominating. Besides the “Fever” Kobe 5 PE’s 7,780 minutes, Clark’s Nike Kobe 6 PE stayed on court for 12,625 minutes, according to KixStats.

Nike released the Light Armory Blue colorway of the Nike Kobe 6 PE on November 12, 2025, and since then, the product has sold like hotcakes, displaying Clark’s massive impact on the game today.

Meanwhile, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Indiana Fever,” released on June 30, 2025, at a retail price of $190, later climbed to $435 on StockX before dropping to $235 at the time of publishing, ranked fifth that month with 1,120 minutes logged, according to KixStats.

But while both of these sneakers were released in 2025, Clark’s impact was also proven in 2026 in a similar way.

Caitlin Clark’s Newly-Released PE Sneakers Sold Out in Minutes

Beyond the buzz around the Nike Kobe 6 PE, Caitlin Clark raised Nike’s stakes once again on April 15. Following the Kobe 6 PE’s success, Nike dropped another Caitlin Clark PE named Nike Kobe 5 Protro x Caitlin Clark “Rookie of the Year,” and it caused a frenzy among fans.

As soon as Nike dropped these sneakers at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday, fans rushed to the SNKRS site, and the $190 pairs sold out within minutes through 10-minute lottery windows.

These player-edition shoes are expected to drop at D***’s Sporting Goods and Foot Locker through a similar lottery system, according to USA Today. However, they may be even harder to get due to their craze and limited stock.

Meanwhile, resellers have already listed the Kobe 5 Protro x Caitlin Clark “Rookie of the Year” on platforms like StockX with the lowest asking price worth $249, and the highest being $600 so far.

So, with the hype reaching a fever pitch, what do you think is driving NBA players to lace up Caitlin Clark’s Kobe PEs over other signature sneakers this season?
