Cameron Brink Wants Paige Bueckers on Her Basketball Team

Cameron Brink and Paige Bueckers are set to clash against one another in the upcoming 2025 WNBA season. Brink was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 draft while Bueckers was the first overall selection this year.

They will clash four times in 2025, but Brink is already plotting a move to lure Bueckers to her Unrivaled team.

It would be nearly impossible to see them teaming up on the Los Angeles Sparks or Dallas Wings, given how important they are for their respective teams. That said, there might be a chance to see them share touches on the court next year after Bueckers signed with the 3-on-3 league.

During Monday's episode of her "Straight 2 Cam" show with Sydel Curry-Lee, Brink had Sparks teammate Rae Burrell as a guest. The forward and the guard defended different teams (Brink was a member of the Lunar Owls while Burrell played for Vinyl) during Unrivaled's inaugural season and now want Bueckers to join them.

Brink made it clear she wanted to have the UConn legend by her side.

"We want Paige, we call Paige," Brink said while Burrell admitted she said the same team. "Nope, I said it first."

"Nope, 'cause she likes Purple... Paige is an owl," she added.

The Lunar Owls only lost one game of 14 during the first season of this league. They clinched the No. 1 seed and appeared to be championship-bound until the playoffs arrived. Burrell's Vinyl upset them in the semifinals with a 73-70 close win.

Vinyl couldn't win the championship after Rose BC stopped them in the final game, but they made a good impression. Bueckers will be a terrific addition wherever she decides to go or is assigned to.

After sustaining an ACL injury, Brink couldn't play in the 2025 season, but she could make a strong return with Bueckers by her side.
