Connor Zilisch wins pole for NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Mexico City

For the the fourth time in 2025, Connor Zilisch will lead the NASCAR Xfinity Series field to the green flag.

The 18-year-old rookie won the pole for Saturday's Chilango 150 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez by one-tenth of a second over Ty Gibbs, who was the fastest driver in Saturday's practice session.

The pole is the fifth of Zilisch's Xfinity Series career, making him the youngest driver to notch five poles in the history of the Xfinity Series. Zilisch won the only Xfinity Series race of the season so far at Circuit of the Americas on March 1.

Gibbs, Christopher Bell, Carson Kvapil and Sammy Smith rounded out the top-five, with Sam Mayer, Austin Hill, Taylor Gray, Nick Sanchez and Jesse Love completing the top 10.

Other notable qualifiers include defending Xfinity Series champion Justin Allgaier in 12th, Sheldon Creed in 13th, Andres Perez in 16th, Sage Karam in 20th and Ruben Rovelo in 31st.

Daniel Suarez will start 38th after a crash during his qualifying run, while Anthony Alfredo will start last in 39th after crashing during practice.

The Chilango 150 will go green shortly after 4 p.m. ET, with coverage on the CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Pre-race coverage will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET on the CW and MRN.
