The Chicago Sky lost to the Atlanta Dream on Monday, falling to 3-10 on the WNBA season. This game completed a difficult back-to-back set that also saw Chicago fall to the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday. Looking to get back in the win column against a 4-10 LA Sparks team, the Sky will travel to Los Angeles for a game on Tuesday at Crypto.com Arena.
Despite the loss to Atlanta, the Sky received some strong individual performances. One came from 2024 All-Star Angel Reese, who tallied 10 points, 19 rebounds and four assists despite her status for the game being questionable.
Prior to the game, Chicago listed Reese on the injury report with a leg injury. Head coach Tyler Marsh confirmed the ailment pregame, and said Reese would be a game-time decision after going through warmups ( via Chicago State of Mind Sports).
Reese ultimately played, tallying 33 minutes on the second half of a back-to-back. Now, an encouraging development has taken place. On Monday, the Sky announced Reese had been removed from their injury report entirely, meaning she is cleared a day in advance for Tuesday's contest in LA.

After receiving one vote for Rookie of the Year last season, ultimately finishing second to Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, it has been an up-and-down sophomore season for Reese. The former LSU star is averaging 10.8 points and a league-leading 11.5 rebounds, but is converting on just 37.4% of her field goal attempts.
Chicago has also been outscored by 143 points with Reese on the court this season, although that cumulative stat is aided by her team-leading 387 minutes played.
