Over the weekend the Dallas Wings won the WNBA's draft lottery and will get the No. 1 pick as a result while the Los Angeles Sparks took the No. 2 pick and Chicago Sky won the No. 3 pick.
Dallas had a 45.4% chance of earning the top pick thanks to a first-round pick swap with the Chicago Sky. The Los Angeles Sparks owned a 44.2% probability to win the while the Washington Mystics were at 10.4%.
Sky star Angel Reese was on hand for the lottery and had a hilarious response to the team losing out on the Paige Bueckers sweepstakes. "Do you still wanna switch or?" Reese jokingly said after the lottery was announced.
Reese's pink outfit had the Chicago Sky social media team in awe.
"We're still not over Angel Reese's look for the lottery. A+ representative," the team said in a message on social media this afternoon.

Wings general manager Curt Miller said the team is looking to draft, "a culture piece -- someone that's going to add to the locker room is going to be such a big deal. And then it's the partnership with the head coach. I have a new role to really support the head coach, listen to the new head coach on the style and the qualities that they are looking for in players on both sides of the ball and put together the best roster to help that head coach be successful."
"We know what No. 1 draft picks have done to franchises and in recent years how they've changed the trajectory of teams," he said after the draft - likely speaking about Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and a few others. "So super excited to earn the No. 1 pick in 2025 draft."
Will the team select Bueckers?
