Atlanta Dream forward DeWanna Bonner has set another WNBA record with the most postseason defensive rebounds.
On Saturday, Bonner became the first player in WNBA history to reach 600 postseason defensive rebounds.
Bonner reached the milestone with her second defensive rebound of the game, with 8:43 remaining in the second quarter.
The WNBA announced the news on social media.
“With her second rebound tonight, DeWanna Bonner has reached 600 career postseason defensive rebounds, becoming the first player in WNBA history to reach the milestone,” WNBA Communications wrote.
The 39-year-old also extended her WNBA record for postseason games played to 110. This latest career milestone is another testament to Bonner’s incredible durability for 17 seasons.

Bonner agreed to a buyout with the Phoenix Mercury in August to join Atlanta and potentially chase a title. She previously won two championships with Phoenix in 2009 and 2014.
But the Dream ultimately fell short. They suffered a 68-63 loss to the Valkyries in Game 7 on Saturday night, denying Atlanta its first championship after four trips to the WNBA Finals.
Gabby Williams led Golden State with 30 points to secure the franchise’s first title in just its second WNBA season.
Meanwhile, Jordin Canada and Allisha Gray spearheaded Atlanta’s offense, finishing with 18 and 16 points, respectively. Angel Reese was limited to eight points but grabbed 12 rebounds in 33 minutes.
Bonner, who has provided veteran leadership and a spark off the bench in the Dream’s postseason run, finished with four points, two rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes.
