The Las Vegas Aces evened their WNBA semifinal series against the Indiana Fever with a 90‑68 Game 2 win in Las Vegas on Tuesday, sending the series to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Games 3 and 4.
Indiana stunned Las Vegas in Game 1 behind Kelsey Mitchell’s 34 points, but the Aces answered with A’ja Wilson’s 25‑point, nine‑rebound, five‑steal performance in Game 2 to pull even in the series.
ESPN’s WNBA broadcast plan originally assigned Pam Ward, LaChina Robinson and Angel Gray to call the Fever‑Aces Game 2 telecast, a decision that drew heavy fan criticism because Rebecca Lobo and Ryan Ruocco have been ESPN’s lead Fever voices all season.
However, much to the delight of fans, ESPN announced on Thursday that Lobo and Ruocco will return (with Holly Rowe) on the call for Game 3 in Indianapolis.
ESPN moving away from Lobo and Ruocco for Game 2 likely had more to do with travel, as the pair were in Minneapolis to call the other semifinal matchup between the Phoenix Mercury and Minnesota Lynx.
Nevertheless, the decision restores the network’s primary crew for a decisive home‑court swing that begins Friday night.

Indiana’s run to the semis hasn't been smooth, but its depth and resilience seem to be those of a legitimate contender.
Caitlin Clark missed the bulk of the season with multiple lower‑body injuries, missing 31 regular-season games this year and not returning for the postseason.
Playing in just 13 games, Clark averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 31.1 minutes, earning her second straight WNBA All-Star nod.
Sophie Cunningham (MCL), Sydney Colson (ACL), Aari McDonald (broken foot) and Chloe Bibby (knee) also suffered season-ending injuries and were ruled out for the playoffs.
Despite losing their franchise star and other key rotation players, the team has leaned on Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, Lexie Hull and Natasha Howard to power the upset of the No. 3 seed Atlanta Dream and battle the Aces.
The Aces (-175) enter Friday's contest favored by 4.5 points with a 162.5-point over/under, per ESPN BET.
