After taking a 1-0 series lead against the Las Vegas Aces, the Caitlin Clark-less Indiana Fever have now found themselves trailing 2-1 following back-to-back losses in Games 2 and 3 of the WNBA semifinals.

Indiana lost by double digits in both instances, one on the road and one at home. In Game 3 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Fever kept the contest close until the third quarter before they ran out of gas in the fourth, allowing the Aces to take the 84-72 victory.

Now, Stephanie White's squad is just one loss away from playoff elimination. Game 4 of the best-of-five series is set for Sunday in Indianapolis.

The good news for the Fever is that they aren't without any hope. In fact, they are predicted to even the series when they host the Aces again.

According to ESPN's Matchup Predictor, the Fever have a 51.6% chance to win Game 4. Meanwhile, the Aces have a 48.4% chance.

It will definitely be interesting to see if the Fever can extend the series and set up a do-or-die Game 5. They were also favored to win in Game 3 but ended up losing.

For what it's worth, Fever guard Lexie Hull recently addressed their showdown with the Aces and shared her take on how they can beat the No. 2 seeds. According to the former Stanford star, defense is key.

"Play disciplined defense," Hull said prior to Game 3. "I think it’s just gonna come down to us being really locked in and trying to limit their chances."

In the Fever's lone postseason win against the Aces so far — an 89-73 victory in Game 1 — they held Las Vegas to 40.8% shooting.
