Stephanie White has been working through her first season as the head coach of the Indiana Fever, led by a group full of stars.
White has the opportunity to lead a talented roster with players like Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
On Saturday, the Fever played the New York Liberty. Clark made her return to the lineup after missing the last five games for Indiana due to injury.
In her first game back with the Fever, Caitlin Clark posted 32 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
White spoke on Clark's skill set after the game. She joked about Clark carrying the load with a potential 30-point triple-double and explained that the Fever star carried the team in the second half of the game.
"Don’t we always expect that type of game for Caitlin (30 pt triple double)…I knew her adrenaline would be high to start…she’s been itching to get back out there…when she gets hot, it’s a streak…she carried us in the 1st half and everyone else carried us in the 2nd half."
The Indiana Fever defeated the New York Liberty 102-88.
