Kelsey Mitchell is one of most discussed players in WNBA circles today. The Indiana Fever guard will become an unrestricted free agent by the end of the season, and she will generate a lot of interest from teams around the league. She announced an on offseason update on Instagram on Monday.

Mitchell and Indiana qualified for the playoffs as the No. 6 seed. They finished the regular season with a 28-16 record and pushed the first-round series to a Game 3. However, she and her teammates failed to dethrone the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces. They lost the winner-take-all matchup 94-83 on Oct. 1 at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

The four-time All-Star is in her prime and has a lot of playoff experience. Contending teams will likely do their best to land her as she could be the missing piece to winning a championship. However, the Fever front office and Caitlin Clark have been vocal about wanting to bring her back.
