Stephanie White and the Indiana Fever are gearing up for the 2026 WNBA season. The Fever had a solid season last year, finishing 24-20 and No. 3 in the Eastern Conference and No. 6 overall. Guard Caitlin Clark suffered a right groin injury against the Connecticut Sun on July 15, missing the remainder of the season.

Indiana made a deep run in the 2025 WNBA playoffs despite the injury to its superstar. The Fever first upset Allisha Gray and the No. 3 seed Atlanta Dream (2-1) in the first round before falling to A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces in the next round (3-2).

Justine Pissott was selected by the Indiana Fever with the No. 25 overall pick in the second round of the 2026 WNBA Draft.

Pissott began her college career with the Tennessee Volunteers, arriving as a five-star prospect out of Red Bank Catholic High School. After spending her freshman season in Knoxville, she transferred to the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Pissott spent three seasons with the Commodores, having a strong senior season in Nashville. On Friday, Fever beat writer Tony East reported that the Fever had signed Pissott to a player development contract. Under the new 2026 CBA, the rookie minimum contract salary is $270,000.

"The Fever announce that they have signed second round pick Justine Pissott, "East wrote on X. "to a player development contract."

Indiana will start the season with a home opener against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on May 9.
