Indiana Fever players rally behind Caitlin Clark on Sunday

It was a memorable weekend for Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark as she took part in her second WNBA All-Star Game. This was the third straight year she was named an All-Star, but she was forced to pull out of last year’s exhibition matchup because of injury.

Clark made up for lost time on Saturday, finishing with 17 points, four rebounds and five assists in 21 minutes of action. The Fever star helped lead Team Spoon to a 129-122 victory in what turned out to be an exciting contest.

Clark caught fire early in the game. She knocked down three long-range triples in the first quarter, much to the delight of the capacity crowd at United Center in Chicago.

Indiana Fever teammates react to Caitlin Clark’s Instagram post

Clark took to social media on Sunday night to share some snaps from the All-Star Weekend. She posted some in-game photos, a couple of snaps with her fellow Fever All-Stars Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, as well as pictures of the new yellow-orange colorway of the Nike Caitlin 1s.

” she captioned her Instagram post.

Apart from the myriad of fan reactions to the post, Clark’s Fever teammates wasted no time rallying behind their superstar.

” Mitchell reacted.

” commented Raven Johnson.

” declared Makayla Timpson.

Clark and Co. now have one more day off before they return to action. Their next game comes Tuesday as they host the Seattle Storm at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tipoff is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET.
