The Indiana Fever are now two games above .500 for the first time during the 2025 WNBA season, but it appears Caitlin Clark could be missing some more time.

On Tuesday, Natasha Howard led the Fever to their third straight win after defeating the Connecticut Sun 85-77 at TD Garden in Boston.

Howard finished with her sixth double-double of the year, tallying 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting, 13 rebounds and two blocks. Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana in scoring with 20 points.

For her play, the Fever have awarded Howard with their version of the typical Player of the Game award, the "Stat Leader of the Game."

"Natasha Howard tonight at TD Garden ," the Indiana Fever wrote on X.

While the Fever may be celebrating their 12th win of 2025, the victory was dampened by injury news in the final minute. Clark was removed from the game after appearing to suffer a groin injury. However, it may not be related to the previous groin issue that sidelined her for five games, as this injury was to her right groin rather than her left.

Howard stepped up in Clark's most recent five-game absence. Helping Indiana to a 3-2 record and a Commissioner's Cup championship win, Howard averaged 15.2 points on 54.8% shooting and 9.4 rebounds during that time span. A significant improvement over her total regular season averages.

Howard and the Fever will have less than 24 hours before their next game, facing the New York Liberty on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET. Indiana will look to take a four-game winning streak into the All-Star break, which begins on Thursday.
