The Indiana Fever, in their fifth straight game without Caitlin Clark, looked to secure a winning record on Tuesday, facing Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream.
During Clark's absence, the Fever have relied on some of their newcomers to make up the slack, including DeWanna Bonner and Natasha Howard. Both players were placed in Indiana's starting lineup to begin the season, but Bonner has since been replaced by Lexie Hull.
Against the Dream, Bonner was subbed in for the first time in the opening quarter, replacing Howard with 4:45 remaining.
After grabbing one defensive rebound in her initial few minutes, Howard came back in to replace Bonner.
Turns out, according to Indy Star's Chloe Peterson, Bonner was forced to head back to the Fever's locker room alongside a trainer. But it wasn't anything injury-related, just an issue with her uniform. She was back on the bench before the second quarter began.
"DB is back on the bench, she had a quick uniform issue -- not injury related," Peterson wrote on X.

Prior to signing with Indiana over the offseason, Bonner had spent 15 seasons with the Phoenix Mercury and Connecticut Sun. She has won two WNBA championships during her lengthy career, both with the Mercury, and has been named to six All-Star games.
Despite struggling as a starter for three games, Bonner has been solid off the bench for the Fever. Prior to Tuesday, she was averaging 7.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
Following the Dream game, the Fever will be back in action on Saturday, facing Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty.
