PHOENIX — The Phoenix Mercury have waived Megan McConnell and signed Kiana Williams as a corresponding roster move, announced by the team in a press release.
McConnell was diagnosed with a tibial plateau fracture in her right knee after being injured during Mercury’s game against the Minnesota Lynx on May 30. She will continue to receive assistance in her rehabilitation from the team.
Williams has been in the WNBA for three seasons, playing in 27 games in her time with the league. She was recently signed to the Seattle Storm in 2024, where she played 13 games.
