'Momma Such A Baddie': Angel Reese Reacts To Mother’s Classic Fashion Choice

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese gave her mother for her fashion choice. In her social media post, Reese called her mother her “twin.”

Over at her story on Instagram, Ange Reese gave a shout-out to her mother, Angel Webb Reese, in her classy vintage fashion choice.

“My momma such a baddie & so classy with it. I love her,” she captioned her story.

“Literally my twin.”

Angel Webb Reese was herself a standout college basketball player at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Webb’s exceptional skills and dedication to the game earned her a place in the UMBC Hall of Fame.

Angel Reese, evidently, did not stray far from the path as that of her mother. She won a championship in college with LSU and has been a standout player for the Chicago Sky in the WNBA. During her rookie season, she was made an All-Star and was included in the All-WNBA Rookie Team.

She also became a champion for the inaugural season of the 3-on-3 women’s basketball league Unrivaled, where she also got the Defensive Player of The Year award.

Angel Reese Suprised Mom By Paying Off Her Mortgage

Angel Reese made headlines with a heartwarming gesture when she surprised her mother, Angel Webb Reese, by paying off her mortgage earlier this year.

Reese surprised her mother with a mortgage payoff and an early retirement on her birthday. This heartwarming moment took place during an episode of Reese’s podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” earlier this year. Reese presented her mother with a birthday cake and then revealed the life-changing gift, fulfilling a promise she had made to retire her mother by eliminating her mortgage.

“Okay this is your cake,” Reese said during the epsiode. “Before we sing happy birthday, you said that if your mortgage was paid off that you would retire. So, your mortgage today, has been paid. You haven’t got to worry about your mortgage no more.”

The announcement left her mother in tears, overwhelmed by the love and gratitude shown by her daughter.

Reese’s biggest goal in life was to pay off her mother’s mortgage as a way to show appreciation for the sacrifices her mother made while supporting Reese’s journey. Reese admired her mother’s independence and work ethic, noting that her mother never depended on her for financial support.

Angel Reese is preparing for the 2025 WNBA season as she is set to come back still under the Chicago Sky.
