The Fever host the Mystics on Friday night as they continue to jockey for playoff positioning.

The Fever are again without Caitlin Clark (groin) plus Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald are both out for the rest of th e season. They did get some reinforcements at the guard position with Odyssey Simms who made her debut last game. The Mystics will miss Shakira Austin (leg) and Jacy Sheldon (ankle) for this contest.

Simms cut into Kelsey Mitchell’s Usage rate, particularly her assists. Mitchell has been excellent without Clark and has developed more as a passer, but now there is another barrier to entry with Simms who can eat up more of that Usage.

Mitchell’s PA line is set at 25.5, and while we were on the over last game, I want to zag here and grab the under. She averages 23.8 PA per game without Clark and has gone under in 59% of games without her this season.
